Abstract
The Lenovo Validated Design (LVD) for Smart Manufacturing with ThinkEdge Solutions offers a reference architecture aimed at enhancing Industry 4.0 manufacturing processes through real-time production monitoring and business intelligence. Developed in partnership with CERTI (Foundation Centers of Reference in Innovative Technologies), these solutions leverage Lenovo's ThinkEdge devices to enable decentralized, edge-based data processing and AI-driven quality inspections in Industrial IoT environments.
The LVD outlines a comprehensive approach to integrating technologies such as Digital Twin and Edge AI to optimize factory floor operations, automate quality inspections, and enhance key performance indicators in manufacturing.
