Abstract

VCF on Lenovo ThinkAgile VX and ThinkAgile FX hyperconverged systems accelerate building robust private cloud infrastructure and enables hybrid/multi-cloud solution to deploy virtual machines and containerized workloads allowing seamless workload mobility and operations across on-premises, public cloud and edge. Lenovo ThinkAgile VX and FX hardware, XClarity One, XClarity Integrators for VMware and VCF together simplify infrastructure management and provisioning and automates deployment, life cycle management(LCM) and security and offers consistent Software Defined Data Center(SDDC) capabilities for customers to scale enterprise workloads for agility and efficiency.

This document describes the steps for deploying VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) on Lenovo® ThinkAgile VX and FX Series servers. The intended audience of this document are IT professionals, technical architects, sales engineers, and consultants to assist in planning, designing, and implementing SDDC stack from VMware. General understanding of server virtualization, containers, cloud services and VMware software is expected to get the most out of the paper.
